DC PBJ Snowboard
Snowboarding is a wonderful sport that involves descending a slope that is covered with snow on a snowboard which is attached to the rider’s feet using a special boot set on to a binding. It’s a thrilling sport and when you ask anyone that does it they say it is exhilarating.
They will also tell you your ride or your jumps are only as good as the snowboard that you are using. This is where the DC PBJ Snowboard comes in, it is an awesomely cool snowboard. Snowboarding, modernly, started in about 1965 and has continued to gain popularity since then.
This snowboard is gaining popularity as well and professionals in this sport will tell you the DC PBJ Snowboard is a treat to ride. I have enjoyed using it myself and find it very comfortable and easy to steer. I just stick to minor free riding and I started on a dare from my kids. This DC PBJ Snowboard is the first one I have purchased for myself and I am very pleased. I thought something like this that I paid for would be cheap snowboards but I found nothing about this is that at all. A very well and complete board that I couldn’t be happier with.
DC PBJ Snowboard Review
Let’s take a look at some of the details and specifications of the DC PBJ Snowboard:
- Flex and Rider Style- This board has a flex rating of a 5. It features a balanced flex rating for the park rider who loves pop and response just as much as a forgiving nature. With 10 the highest and stiff and 1 the lowest and the softest a 5 is right in the middle and a perfect flex rating.
- Construction and Core- the wood reinforced composite Astro Core creates a bomb proof board. This board is designed to be extremely durable while at the same time provides the rider with great freestyle performance. By watching my son and his friends it sure does work. It also has the Biax laminate that provides two directions of glass fibers that are woven tightly together. This allows for additional durability and strength yet at the same time it adds no weight. The Camber Core profile creates a flat section in the center of the board which provides a stable platform.
Shape- The DC PBJ Snowboard is the most anti-cambered board, its perfect for butters presses and deep paw. The radius to flat profile has been added to all of these snowboards for 2011, this provides the lift that you need in the powder.- Base- the base done here lets you and your board to glade faster, turn easier and allow you to ride longer regardless of how much wax you have or don’t have.

- Jibbing- this is a freestyle snowboarding technique of riding on any other surface than snow. Some of the common surfaces are metal rails, boxes, benches, walls, rocks, logs and concrete ledges. Most of the time this is done in a controlled park.
- Free Riding- this is the most common and the easiest to access. It consists riding down any terrain that is possible yet it’s usually groomed runs.
- Freestyle- in this style the rider will use man made terrain such as boxes, rails, and many other different things.
